GSM-BGS5-485 is GSM/GPRS modem which supports JAVA, it’s designed for industrial use and has an aluminium body. It’s suitable for installation into panelboard. Modem features two communication ports – Micro USB and serial port RS485. The modem also has one digital input, one output and HW watchdog, which restarts the GSM module, it’s controlled by JAVA sw. Input can be read with while using internal battery. In BGS5, there is an option to run a JAVA program created by the customer. Modem is built around BGS5 Cinterion ( Gemalto, formerly Siemens ).
